Our team

Chief Executive

Rodney is the Chief Executive/Founder of the Institute. He is a Fellow Member of The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and holds Practice Certificate with the body. He holds an MA in Accounting & Finance (University of Huddersfield, UK), B.Sc. (Hons) in Applied Accounting (Oxford Brookes University, UK) and a number of specialist certificates which includes sustainability reporting, sustainability assurance and Climate Change. He is a Doctoral Candidate for a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) with Herriot Watt University (Scotland). He is also a University Lecturer and has great passion in Sustainability and Sustainable Development. He served 6 years as a Stakeholders Council Member  of GRI (The Netherlands) and has great international exposure is difference fields. He has membership of GRI Africa – Advisory Group (South Africa), ACCA Global Forum on Sustainability (England), Institute of Director Zimbabwe and Zimbabwe Stock Exchange (ZSE) – Listings Committee. He also a registered Public Accountant in Zimbabwe and has published a number of research documents and papers.

Development Economist

Fortunate is the Development Economist. She bears both M.Sc. in Economics and B.Sc in Economics with the University of Zimbabwe (UZ). Fortunate is responsible for Strategic programme development, project oversight, maintaining good partnership and stakeholder relations, research and reporting.

Business Development

Rutendo is our Business Development Officer. She bears a B.Sc. in Business Studies specializing in Marketing with Africa University (AU) and attained a Certificate in Digital Marketing with the Marketers Association of Zimbabwe (MAZ) in conjunction with WSI Academy. Rutendo manages the Institute’s stakeholder relations and engagements and will ensure that all communication processes are timely and effective. She is responsible for engagement coordination and stakeholder engagement aspects of the sustainability reporting process.

Finance and Administrative

Melody is the Finance and Administration Assistant and is a holder of B.Sc. in Accountancy with Chinhoyi University of Technology (CUT). Her responsibilities include financial management and support, data analysis and financial Reporting, financial Policy implementation as well as administrative support.

Sustainability and Climate Change Analyst

Emmanuel bears a BSc. (Honours) in Environmental Science and Health from the National University of Science and Technology. He is a seasoned Environmental Systems and Sustainability Specialist with multi-industry expertise in coordinating and management of social, economic and environmental issues. Experienced in identification and management of significant organizational issues and; cross cutting knowledge of trending issues and solutions in Safety and Sustainability including developing strategies, KPI development, stakeholder engagement, materiality, performance management and reporting (GRI).Emmanuel is a leading sustainability thought leader and trainer.
